Who Should Attend: The Foundation/Novice course is suitable for operatives with little to no experience on the Telehandler.
Pre-requisites: Candidates must have successfully passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test within the past two years.
Course Details:
- Roles and responsibilities.
- Regulations and legislation.
- Undertake all pre-use inspection checks.
- Travel over rough, undulating ground, steep inclines and level surfaces - loaded and unloaded.
- Manoeuvre in confined spaces with or without load.
- Actions required for hazards, underground and overhead services.
- Lift and remove various loads up to full extension and working height of the Telehandler.
- Transfer and place loads accurately at given locations.
- Shut down procedures.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CPCS Trained Operator 'Red' card which is valid for two years.
