Course Overview
Course Dates

Course Aims:

To provide theory training ONLY in operating a Forward Tipping Dumper, to enable the candidate to competently and safely carry out the role and pass the CPCS Theory and Practical Tests.

Course Contents:

- Carrying out pre start and running checks
- Set the Dumper for site and road travel
- Travel over differing types of terrain, including rough undulating ground both loaded and unloaded
- Travel up and down substantial inclines loaded and unloaded
- Position dumper to receive loads
- Comply with loading procedures
- Discharge loads into trenches and over edges
- Place machine in and out of service condition
- Explain loading and unloading procedures on and off of Transporter

Testing/ Certification:

In order to achieve the CPCS Red Trained Operators Card, all delegates must bath both the CPCS Theory and Practical tests

Entry Requirements:

- Must have completed the CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Test for Operatives within the past 2 years
- Must have a good understanding of the written and spoken English language

Duration:

2 Days

Additional Information:

This course does not include practical training. It is expected that all delegates have the past two or more years experience on the Dumper and will not require any practical training prior to the testing

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
