Is the NEBOSH Certificate a recognised qualification?
A NEBOSH Certificate is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health – in meeting academic requirements for Technical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH). It is also accepted by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (llRSM) for associate membership.
What does the course cover?
It covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control.
The Certificate syllabus is based on the Employment National Training Organisation (ENTO) standards. These are reviewed regularly to keep up with developments in the workplace and legislation.
How is the course assessed?
Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit. A certificate award parchment is issued on completion of the two units and the practical assessment

Course duration: 10 days +1 exam day.
