Course Contents:

- Introduction including pre-course theory test, IPAF and PAL card overview
- Understanding the different machine classifications i.e. 1a,1b,3a,3b MC, TPI and IAD
- Awareness of different types of MEWPs and know exactly how to plan and supervise the use of MEWPs
- Understand the different types of MEWPs and how to select the right on for the job
- Recognise how inspection, pre-use and the daily maintenance of machines is so important in helping protect your organisation
- Can implement effective accident and prevention and control strategies
- Understanding of regulations to MEWP usage
- Individual written rest, with explanation and pass requirements
- Course review and closure
- Made fully aware of all the relevant Health and Safety Regulations and Accident Prevention and Control
- Be fully aware of the needs regarding PPE
- Be made fully aware of the need to refer to the machines operating manual and the importance of selecting the correct machine.
