CCNSG Safety Passport National Course

What It This?

Delivered by ECITB Accredited Trainers the CCNSG Safety Passport scheme aims to ensure a basic knowledge of a range of health and safety matters for all site personnel to enable them to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others after the appropriate site induction. The scheme aims to encourage the development of a positive health and safety culture, which benefits clients, employers, and employees. 

What Does It Cover?

Participants will learn about:

- Understanding personal site safety responsibilities.
- Causes of accidents; behaviour; safety barriers and control measures
- Personal choices and attitudes to safety
- Health and Safety legislation, guidance and safe systems of work.
- Health and Safety law
- Communication and accident reporting, H.S.E. and enforcement, safe systems of work
- Common hazards at work.
- Fire; manual handling, work equipment, noise, work at heights, lifting operations and other hazards, safety signs and P.P.E.

Who Requires A CCNSG Card?

You may require a CCNSG card if you are an engineer or contractor working in the construction industry, or if your site demands a valid CCNSG Safety Passport for entry.

Certification: The Safety Passport issued on successful completion will be valid for three years and is renewable at the end of those three years.
