The PASMA Mobile Scaffold Tower with Cantilevers course is a one-day course and is aimed at those required to assemble, dismantle, alter, move and inspect mobile access towers with cantilevers.

PASMA Course Detail

The Mobile Scaffold Tower with Cantilevers course includes:

• Legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers with cantilevers, including EN1004 and BS 1139, Part 6.
• Hazards affecting the use of mobile towers with cantilevers and how to avoid them.
• Assembling, altering and dismantling towers, including the principles of counterbalance calculations in cantilever applications, best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed mobile access towers and Tower Inspection Records.

Course Delivery

To attend this course delegates must have a current PASMA Tower for Users Photocard and good working knowledge of working at height.

The course can be run at a registered PASMA training centre or at a customer’s premises, as long as the venue and equipment meet pre-requisite requirements.  The course includes both theory and practical session and the venue should have suitable classroom accommodation and an indoor/outdoor practical area with a minimum 6 meters of free height.

The maximum permitted number of delegates on this PASMA course is 8.

Successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions will receive a PASMA Certificate of Training and Photo ID Card, which is valid for 5 years.
