EUSR Training - SHEA Gas Course

The EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) Gas programme is part of the larger Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) suite. It has been developed for those involved in the gas industry, including supervisors, managers and operatives who need the EUSR card to access sites, including permanent and temporary sites.

This course is sometimes referred to as the “EUSR Gas course”.

Course Detail

The SHEA Gas course consists of 9 modules in total: 6 core SHEA modules plus an additional 3 modules specific to the Gas industry. The additional modules relate to gas specific excavations/highway working, pressure regulating installations and safety in premises.

Delegates need to complete all modules and pass the SHEA Gas assessment to achieve an EUSR Registration which is valid for 5 years.

Course content includes:

• Six core modules common to all utility industries, forming the basis of health, safety and environmental law and practices.
• Additional specific modules realting to the Gas industry and working on the highways.
• Environmental responsibilities.
