The Ladder Association - Ladder Usage

The Ladder Association - Ladder User training course is written with guidance from the UK's leading experts on ladder manufacture, maintenance and safety, the Ladder Association scheme addresses all the issues raised by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and, more recently, the Work at Height Regulations 2005. This half day training course will ensure delegates have the knowledge and instruction to be able to use and select ladders and step ladders legally and safely.

Schedule

The Ladder Association Ladder User course gives the knowledge and training to use ladders and stepladders safely and select the appropriate type for the task being carried out.

Instruction Method

This course includes classroom learning along with a theory and a practical session assessed on the day by the tutor.

Prerequisites

Delegates are required to bring the following on the day of training:

- Hi visibility vest/jacket
- Hard hat
- Safety boots
- Rigger gloves
- Other PPE will be issued during the practical session as required.
