SA004 - Safe Use of Abrasive Wheels

This accreditation provides learners with the knowledge and skills of the hazards and potential risks involved in working with abrasive wheels. It also helps learners’ awareness of compliance with health and safety legislation. The accreditation tests learners’ knowledge, skills and understanding of dangers associated and the safety precautions required while working with abrasive wheels. 

This accreditation ensures that learners involved in working with abrasive wheels to be suitably trained and accredited to industry and National Occupational Standard (NOS). This accreditation is aimed at those working with abrasive wheels. This accreditation does not cover slot cutting machines.

Pre-requisites: Please note that candidates will need to be clean shaven for this course as dust masks will need to be worn during practical training
