Course Overview
ROLO or Register of Landbased Operatives is a one day Health Safety and Environmental Awareness course designed for people who work in the forestry industry, agriculture, landscape management and highway maintenance. Achievement of ROLO is mandatory for individuals wishing to obtain a LISS/CSCS card that would allow them to work in a highway environment.
Course Aims
To provide delegates who successfully complete the course with an understanding of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) with the aim of reducing accidents to operatives and raising industry standards. The course is also intended to give delegates the knowledge that will allow them to achieve the LISS/CSCS card. On conclusion of the course and provided the delegate passes a separate touch screen test to gain the appropriate CSCS card, they can then apply for the industry specific LISS/CSCS card……..Now mandatory for anyone working National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS18) projects.

Assessment
35 minute multiple choice exam.
Certificate
ROLO - Health & Safety, Environmental Awareness that is valid for 5 years.
