Candidates who are successful in an individual unit will be issued with a unit certificate, normally within 8 weeks of the issue of the result notification. Units are not graded and the certificates will show a ‘Pass’ only.
When candidates have been awarded a unit certificate for both units (i.e. have achieved a Pass in EC1 and EC2), the marks are added together and a final grade is awarded as follows:
Pass 105 – 124 marks

Once a candidate has achieved a Pass in both units and the overall qualification grade awarded they are normally considered to have completed the qualification and an overall qualification parchment will be issued, within three months of the result declaration date for the second successfully completed unit.
