Course Overview
Working safely is a basic introduction for all levels of personnel who are non-health and safety experts and meets the government’s guidelines for introductory health and safety training and is a 100 % match to the Health and Safety Executive’s ‘passport’ syllabus.

This training will enable candidates to:
- Carry out work activities without risk to themselves or others
- Understand the consequences, as a result of failing to work safely
- Identify hazards, risks and risk controls and understand the importance of risk assessment with examples of everyday use
- Take appropriate workplace precautions and understand their importance in the work environment
- Identify lines of communication in their places of work
- Identify safety signs and signals
- Know how and to whom to report accidents, incidents and near misses in their places of work

Who should attend?
All individuals who are not otherwise trained in health and safety.

Course Content and Duration
A two-day course offering all the basics in a high impact interactive package, designed to be fun and get people fully involved and interested. Jargon-free technical content based on what people need to know in practice, not off-putting legal language with clear scenarios drawn from genuine work situations to drive home practical points

Assessments built into the day’s training – with no need for follow-on tests on separate days, taking up valuable work time.
