Introduction


This course is aimed at managers & supervisors that are required to manage employees and their work activities, in compliance with the company’s Safety Policy & Health & Safety legislation. This course can help with achieving competency as set out within the CDM 2015 regulations.

Aims & Objectives
- Apply basic management principles & practices to Health & safety issues, set practical Health & Safety objectives & implement means of achieving those objectives.
- Recognise risks present in the workplace and set appropriate control measures, take account of risks posed by human factors.
- Ensure that adequate information, instruction, training and supervision is provided within the workplace.
- Investigate all incidents involving injury or damage in order to determine the causes and to take appropriate remedial actions.
- Communicate effectively on Health & safety issues with supervisors, employees and Health & Safety professionals and understand the main legal requirements of employers and managers and to act to fulfil these obligations.
