Indesign CC Advanced Techniques
Our InDesign CS6 Advanced Training Course is aimed at those who are comfortable with the basics of using InDesign, and want to look at some of the more advanced functionality available in InDesign. The course is ideally suited to those who have attended the InDesign CS6 Getting Started course, or are already comfortable with most of the topics covered within it.
During this course you will learn how to work with more advanced styling such as nested styles, next style and object styles, you will learn to apply automated page numbering, use the liquify and alternate layout functions and lots more. You will work with interactive features and learn how to create pdf forms from within InDesign all ready for output, not to mention add hyperlinks, page transitions and other interactive features. We will teach you how to make use of snippets and libraries to reuse content saving a lot of time, and if you are working with external data from excel or other database sources, we will teach you how to generate a fully formatted indesign document directly from the data file.
Audience
If you have no idea how to place text or images on an InDesign page, or have never heard of character and paragraph styles, you should take a look at the InDesign CS6 Getting Started course. If however you are comfortable with this kind of thing and are looking to move on to the next level, this is the right course. We don't expect you to be an InDesign expert, and this course is ideal for those who are at an intermediate level and want to move beyond the basics of InDesign.
This course is a hands on class and our class size is capped at a maximum of 8 delegates in London and 5 in York, ensuring plenty of one to one attention. The course can also be taken as a closed course at your own location.
Duration
This course is offered as a two day course
