Emergency First Aid at Work training gives a first-aider the knowledge and confidence to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. The course is designed for the first aider in a low hazard work place.
The course conforms and meets all standards of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

- Recording incidents
- Acting promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Provision of First Aid for minor injuries including; small cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns &
scalds & small splinters
- Cross infection
- The unconscious casualty
- Seizure
- The non-breathing casualty
- The choking casualty
- A casualty in shock
Assessment and Certification
The course will include practical demonstration and individual participation. Assessment of competence is on-going practical and knowledge assessment by trainer. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded a certificate of achievement, valid for three years.
