Accredited course – certificate valid for 3 years.

Course Description:

Classroom based with practical elements.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work Course is suitable for ‘nominated’ persons responsible for first aid provisions in low risk businesses or for people who provide support for qualified first aiders within larger organisations.

The course is both engaging and interactive with a combination of classroom based learning and hands on practical training.

Course Outline:

- Unresponsive and breathing (CPR)
- Unresponsive and not breathing (including the use of an automated external defibrillator/AED)
- Having a seizure
- Choking
- Bleeding heavily
- Suffering from shock
- Burns

It also includes information on:

- Dealing with an emergency:
- Assessing a casualty
- Mnitoring a casualty
- Where to get help
- Accident Reporting
- First Aid box content

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
