Course Dates

Objectives
The most challenging aspect of the role of a Manager is managing people. This course will help Managers understand the importance of conducting these meetings, working within their own company policies and procedures, and ensuring they are in line with ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Services) guidelines which offer advice and guidance on all aspect of work relations and employment law.

Duration
Course duration is ½ day.

Who Should Attend
All Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for undertaking disciplinary and grievance meetings in the workplace.

Course Content
The course will feature practical examples of how to prepare and conduct disciplinary and grievance meetings and how to avoid conflict.

Delegates will use case studies and undertake role play to understand how best to manage these situations.

Outcomes
On completion of the course, delegates will feel more confident to carry out disciplinary and grievance meetings effectively and will have a sound understanding of the guiding principles set out by ACAS.

Delegate Preparation
Delegates are invited to bring along a copy of their own company policies regarding discipline and grievance.
