In addition, this City and Guilds 2382-12 17th Edition electrical course will also describe typical examples of how and where particular items within the 17th Edition of the wiring regulation may be applied.


All candidates on this City and Guilds 2382-12 17th edition course, are assessed via an on line examination comprising of 60 multiple choice questions.

The examination duration is 2 hours.

This is an “open book” examination and is carried out using the computer based City and Guilds e-volve system.

All candidates are given their results at the end of the examination.

Please note that copies of BS 7671:2008, taken into examinations cannot contain the following:

- Sample exam questions, answers or diagrams
- Any writing in the regulations or accompanying written notes which indicate possible answers within a given section.
- Notes, diagrams or any content that may, in anyway seeks to advantage the candidate in answering questions within the examination.
