City & Guilds 2382-18
Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations; BS 7671 (2018)

Duration: 3 days, including Examination

Course Overview:

This qualification is the benchmark qualification for all electricians who are seeking to gain more of an insight into this important standard.

City and Guilds 2382 is widely recognised throughout the electrical industry as the “must
have” qualification, as a requirement to show that an individual has a thorough understanding of how to navigate BS 7671.

If you are involved in domestic, commercial or industrial electrical installations, this
qualification is widely regarded as the mandatory requirement for anyone involved in the electrical installation industry or is likely to be supervising those that are carrying out
electrical installations.

Any person who needs to prove that they have the necessary underpinning knowledge of the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations in the electrical industry, will be required to show evidence by way of having a thorough understanding and an awareness of all the
requirements of the Wiring Regulations, and that is achieved by holding the City and Guilds 2382-18 certificate.
Although there are no pre-entry requirements to attend this course, we strongly recommend that prospective candidates have prior personal knowledge of electrical theory and terminologies, together with a basic understanding of electrical installation principles and circuits.
