What’s It About?

This Level 2 Principles of Manual Handling course aims to develop the candidates understanding of the principles of safe manual handling. It aims to apply what they have learnt to their working environment and therefore makes their work practices safer.

Who Should Attend:

It is suitable for all employees to raise their awareness of the risks of unsafe manual handling practices. It is also perfect for people who might have to carry out manual handling as part of their job.

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 apply to almost all work environments from offices to care homes and factories.

This course is a theory based qualification. Candidates who need practical training should attend the one day Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling course.
