First Aid Annual Update

The Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that all first aiders (FAW and EFAW) do an annual half-day update course – to help them maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures. Please note that this course will not refresh your current certificate if it is nearing the 3 year expiry date, it is just an additional yearly update.  The CIEH Annual First Aid Update allows candidates to find out about any changes in first-aid practice that have taken place in the previous year and how they might impact their role as a first aider.

Course Objectives:

Successful completion of the training programme will provide candidates with the skills practice needed to continue to undertake first aid in a variety of work situations.

Who should attend

All first aiders who have People who have previously achieved First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2). 

Pre - requistes
Candidates must hold a valid FAW or Ofqual accredited EFAW certificate.
