The CCNSG (Client Contractor National Safety Group) Safety Passport is the engineering construction industry safety card. Workers must have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport to enter many engineering and construction sites.
The course is aimed at employee and sub-contractor personnel who work within the installation and maintenance sectors of the construction and engineering industry.
Requirements:
Delegates will be required to bring with them to the course either a current UK photo card driving licence or current travel passport as proof of identity. Any other type of photo ID must be agreed to before the course date. Delegates will also be required to take a note of their National Insurance number and bring 2x passport size photographs on the first day of the course. Digital photographs can be taken in-house on the day of training.
Prerequisites:
Delegates attending this construction training course must have a good understanding of the English Language in both verbal and written formats.

• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Risk Assessments, including fire safety, Hazardous substances and asbestos
• Hierarchy of control
• Manual Handling
• Provision and use of work equipment regulations
• Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome
• Working in confined spaces and working at height
• Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations
• Site transport
• Signage
• Excavations
• Electric/Isolation
• Environment, including noise
• Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences
