We were founded in 1995 as a value added service to existing Group clients and candidates. Since then we have grown into one of the foremost learning organisations in the UK through our continued and passionate commitment to delivering results that make real difference across three core areas of business; learning, learning recruitment and learning managed services.
We have the widest range of training programmes in the UK, the best professional qualifications and CPD and the most flexible approach to suit programmes to you and your organisation’s needs. We deliver over 50,000 days training a year across the country and our exam pass rates are some of the best in the world.
Corporate social responsibility & our green course range
In 2005, we became the UK's first major recruitment company to go CarbonNeutral™. As a group, we produced 4,208 tonnes of Carbon in 2004 and this is now being offset through investment in forestry projects throughout the UK. These projects, which include five in Scotland, one in Durham and one in Northumberland, help to offset carbon emissions by absorbing the Carbon Dioxide already in the atmosphere.

It would be hypocritical of us to tell you how to run your business greener without practising what we preach:
- We have significantly reduced the total quantity of paper based direct marketing - you're reading this online right now! We can't replace it entirely in our promotional materials, but where possible, we encourage people to sign up for email and web marketing so we use fewer trees
- All our marketing materials are printed on fully FSC certified paper from renewable forests by ISO14001 certified printers using vegetable based inks
- All our training materials are printed on 100% post-use recycled paper
- We have fitted motion sensors and individual light switches in our training centre and head office to cut down on wasted energy
- We have launched a green employee award for the company co-member who makes the most significant green shift in their overall life both at work and home
