Suitable For:
This course is designed for all individuals who are required to work in areas which are classed as at height, now covered by the Work at Height Regulations 2005, as well as Health and Safety Practitioners, Safety Representatives, Managers, Supervisors and individuals with responsibilities under The Construction Design and Management Regulations (including CDM Co-ordinators, designers, principal contractors and contractors).

Objectives:
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Summarise the Work at Height Regulations and associated legislation with a full awareness of the legal responsibilities
- Plan and organise work using competent persons and undertake a risk assessment
- Select the correct work equipment and restraint systems to help prevent falls from height thus reducing risk to themselves and others
- Carry out inspections of equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose
- Confidently select and correctly don a harness
