Aims and Objectives:
To assist delegates in becoming aware of their duties and responsibilities regarding asbestos and the potential risks that it poses.

Who should attend?
This course is aimed at those who may be undertaking non-licensable work, for example, removal of a whole asbestos cement sheet or the controlled stripping or removal of textured coatings.

This course is designed for those who need an understanding of asbestos, its potential risks and will work with it deliberately. Exemption from this requirement for training, only applies when it can be demonstrated that the working environment is free from all Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s).

- Health hazards of asbestos.
- Asbestos in buildings.
- Asbestos legislation.
- Asbestos waste
- Emergency procedures.
- Operations and preventive controls.
- Control limit/air monitoring.
- Record keeping.
- RPE and PPE.
- Decontamination procedures.

Certification:
All delegates who complete this course, will be awarded the:

Training for Non-Licensable Asbestos Work Certificate of attendance and achievement
