Overview:
This course utilizes SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 to teach administrative skills common to an entry level Linux administrator or Help Desk technician in an enterprise environment. Attendees of Linux Administration will learn to install and configure SLES10, establish and manage users and groups, grant and manage permissions to users and groups, manage software applications with YaST, manage and troubleshoot the SUSE LINUX file system, manage printing, configure the network with YaST, and manage network services
In this course you learn basic SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 (SLES 10) administration skills. These skills, along with those taught in the SUSE LINUX Fundamentals (3071) and SUSE LINUX Advanced Administration (3073) courses, prepare you to take the Novell ® Certified Linux ® Professional (Novell CLP) certification practicum test
Audience:
The primary audience for this course is those who have completed SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Fundamentals (Course 3071), CompTIA Linux+ (Course 3064) or those with comparable knowledge.
