About the Course:
This course uses experiential learning techniques to practically explore the difficult and complex issues of acquiring confidence and charisma, cutting down on gobbledygook, tackling problems fearlessly, loving challenge and using imagination creatively.
Course Overview:
'Succeed Beyond Yourself' challenges and develops you on four levels.
-1. FEAR. Work outside the comfort zone and experience how energy and fearlessness can be nurtured; Understanding fear and confronting it; Action in the grip of fear; Using the body to release energy and charisma; Using the body to appear calm
-2. VOCAL DYNAMISM. Work with specialist vocals skills on speaking with conviction and influencing people; Using the voice to connect with people and instil confidence; Instant charisma in how you speak; Dynamising a group through voice and presence
-3. WAFFLE. Learn about waffle! What is it and when do we speak it? How can we recognise it and eliminate it? How can we inspire by talking without it? Controlling focus in discussion
-4. CREATIVITY. Unleash your hidden creativity; Use it in your speech; Understand the role of and place for creativity in our day to day relations.
