Overview

You have created an exciting vision for your organisation but you now have to make this reality. Like any good film you must have a strong plot and be able to focus clearly on defining your ideal outcome - your happy ending!
This course will help you clarify the strategic direction you should be taking in order to implement your vision for a better future.

Key Outcomes
Delegates will leave the programme understanding the importance of defining a mission, vision and goals. They will also consider and use a range of techniques to help make their vision a reality.

- What is Strategic Thinking & how can it help the Organisation? 
- Setting Missions, Visions and Goals 
- Preparing a Business Plan 
- Managing change within the Organisation 
- Making the most of Creativity in the workplace 
- Identifying & utilising Driving Forces within the business 
- Understanding the current marketplace, (including use of the Ansoff Matrix & the Directional Policy Matrix) 
- Techniques for exploring your current position (including using the GE Grid, SWOT and Gap analysis, Porter’s Five Forces etc) 
- Implementing your good ideas – what are the issues? 
- Has it been worthwhile? How to measure the benefits

Please Note
There will be a maximum group size of 8 attendees allowing for individual attention from the tutor and the opportunity to practise your skills during the day.
