Statutory Requirements, Best Practice Procedures & Maintenance (INTACS Industrial Weight Course)
The INTACS alternative 17th Edition Wiring Regulations courses are designed for people in industry. Light treatment is given to kitchens and bathrooms, swimming pools and saunas, amusements arcades, fairgrounds and exhibition stands; instead time is spent on the Wiring Regulations as applies to control panels, three phase power and industrial motors and machinery.

Duration: 2 days

Prerequisites: This course is for practicing electricians & multiskilled maintenance personnel. Delegates should have attended either the C&G 2382-10 / 20 or have attended the INTACS Industrial Weight 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course.

Aims: Building on the prerequisite 17th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge, delegates will be made fully aware of the various regulations, approved codes of practice & guidance notes that exist. Delegates will also be made aware of the importance of working safely & operating within the Law in an industrial work environment where electrical energy is used to power plant, equipment & the infrastructure. Delegates will gain enhanced knowledge & skills that will enable them to safely maintain & fault-find/ rectify intermittent electrical problems & faults in a safe, logical & cost effective manner.
