As incidence of stress at work continues to increase, so do referrals to Occupational Health for informed support and guidance. Organisations concerned with stress management and to ensure they are meeting their legislative responsibilities are seeking assurance from OH as to whether individuals are at risk of stress. However it remains difficult to find reliable advice to define and measure stress at work.

Trainer Profile: Carol Pennington 
Carol Pennington has extensive experience working with OH professionals in the field of work related stress. Carol has devised stress policies; procedures for handling stress related absence and reassimilation back at work and re managing the impact of organisational change. She has worked with teams on problem solving and mediation to resolve conflicts and sources of tension. Carol is a researcher, trainer and consultant with 15 years experience advising on the impact and causation of organizational stress.

This course helps OH advisors to make informed decisions about the risk of stress to the organisation and levels of stress management.
