SPA Supervisor
This course forms the second day of the SPA - Safety Passport programme for Supervisors,
and you need to have sat the Core 1 day course prior to attending this. Increasingly a
Safety Passport is required before a contractor is permitted on site. This course allows the
successful delegate to demonstrate to potential clients their competency through a
nationally recognised passport scheme.
Duration
One day. [plus the PTS Core Day prior to attending this course].
Who should attend
All persons who are required to enter a site operating the Safety Passport Scheme as well as all personnel who have a supervisory / managerial role on site. Prospective delegates to this course must first undergo the core, this ensures the Supervisor / Manager has a basic knowledge of general good practice in Health and Safety and of their specific hazards and risks.
Aims and objectives
To drive good practice through the contractor supply chain, increasing safety awareness and contributing to higher standards of safety performance.
