This course forms the first day of the SPA Safety Passport programme and is often taken as a
course in its own right to provide a general health and safety awareness across the industry.
It can also be taken as day 1 of an industry sector training programme, with day 2 consisting
of the relevant industry sector module. Increasingly a Safety Passport is required before a
contractor is permitted on site. This course allows the successful delegate to demonstrate to
potential clients their competency through a nationally recognised Passport scheme.

Who should attend 

All persons who are required to enter a site operating the Safety Passport Scheme as well as personnel at all levels who need a general overview of health and safety and its impact on their work.

Aims and objectives 

Develop the delegate's awareness of health and safety issues and to ensure that they understand the main hazards associated with their workplace.

Multi-choice question papers.

The programme is assessed and moderated by SPA. Safety Passports are issued to successful candidates.
