Six Sigma Manufacturing Black Belt

Programme Overview

This modular programme covers the full DMAIC toolkit to develop Black Belts who are skilled in scoping and delivering complex Six Sigma projects, and can lead and support Green Belt and Yellow Belts on projects for manufacturing processes. In addition to the technical skills development, delegates will develop the leadership and change management skills required to support the Black Belt role, plus the ‘enabling’ techniques of creativity and communication. Each Black Belt candidate will be assigned a Smallpeice mentor who will provide regular support and input to the project delivery, and will meet with the delegate and project sponsor on-site at your company during the early stages of the programme.

Programme Format
Covering the recognised DMAIC body of knowledge for Black Belts, this course follows a format of four 5-day blocks (one session per month for four months), and links to a formal accreditation process. Training style throughout is participative, encouraging discussion, group activities, hands-on exercises, and regular reviews of project progress and support.
