There is increasing legislation concerning the operators of Scissor Lifts, Cherry Pickers and Boom Lifts. 

The aim of the training course is to provide delegates with an understanding of the need for accident prevention, safe operational procedures, emergency descent operations and the responsibilities of the employers and employees. The course covers the main aims of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.

If you have machines on site ready for use, on-site training is available nationwide.

- Understanding of the capabilities of the work platforms 
- Duties of the operator 
- Emergency systems for lowering 
- Hazards and risks 
- Checks and inspections 
- Controls 
- Storage 
- Written assessment test paper 
- Practical section – operation of the work platforms
