Aims and Objectives:
This recently designed course and accreditation was introduced in 2006 and is aimed at those wishing to become Asbestos Surveyors.

Delegates will receive intense theory and practical training over the duration of the course which will enable them to begin surveying in the field.

In addition to covering the relevant requirements and techniques used to conduct Type 1 and 2 Asbestos Surveys, delegates will undergo tutorials outlining the development of existing legislation and how it relates to the process of asbestos surveying and the use and applications of asbestos in buildings.

Practical sessions will guide delegates through the various bulk sampling techniques employed during asbestos surveying before conducting a full practice survey within the testing facilities.

Further information is provided on the nature of building surveys and techniques used during risk management before the course culminates in the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health’s two paper examination, the Level 3 Certification in Asbestos Inspection Procedures.

The successful completion of this course enables the delegate to progress on towards the practical assessment of asbestos surveying competence.

Our asbestos courses run across the UK and can be taken over either a half or full day. Many of our clients use our modern training facilities however you may prefer that we come to your premises to save you time and money.

This course is certified by the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health.
