That's what you'll be able to do after taking the Quark Xpress - Advanced course with Academy Class.

This course is designed to improve your skills working with the advanced features and special functions of this popular layout program. We will explore some fairly complex issues, including managing your work flow, structuring documents, creating advanced style sheets, text and graphics, long documents and colour output. We recommend that you be very comfortable with using QuarkXPress before taking this class and, if possible, have previously taken an introduction course.

Pre-Requisites
To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the following course or have equivalent knowledge: QuarkXPress - Introduction

Audience
Graphic professionals who need an advanced understanding of page layout. Experienced users will also benefit from the many tips and tricks and special exercises.

On Completion
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- create graphic effects using Bézier lines and shapes.
- create type effects so that body text and display type enhance the design of a layout.
- lay out pages efficiently.
- control type color so that the densities of text blocks are as you want.
- apply color management so that colors match as accurately as possible.
- manage long documents.
