Aims And Objectives:

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

- describe and explain the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
- describe and explain inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
- use inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
- describe and explain assessment types, methods and requirements in education and training

- Establishing the learning environment
- Including everyone in different ways
- Teaching methods
- Assessment
- Roles, responsibilities and boundaries
- Session planning
- Micro-teach delivery and feedback
- How to complete your qualification portfolio

The practical element of the qualification, i.e. the micro-teach, will be completed whilst attending the 4 days of the course. These four days, however, represent only part of the requirements of the qualification. There is also follow-on assignment work and subsequently a portfolio submission needed to complete the qualification.
