Proof-reading

This 1 day course is designed for anyone involved in the creation and issue of written material which requires accuracy in order to project a professional image.

Using various light-hearted exercises delegates will identify common mistakes when carrying out proof-reading and be shown the skills necessary to project an accurate and professional image when circulating literature.

By the end of the event delegates will have;
Considered how their outlook on proof-reading can help or hinder the proof-reading process. 
- Identified the common mistakes people make when proof-reading and how to overcome them 
- Appreciate the importance of carrying out a structured and focussed approach to proof- reading
Carried out proof-reading techniques on various documents

The course will begin at 9.30 with refreshments served from 9.15. The course will finish around 4.30 and will include lunch.
