Employees who have been given the responsibility of conducting workplace risk assessments: 
- Line Managers 
- Supervisors 
- Employee Representatives

Aims and Objectives
To provide an understanding of the theory and practice of undertaking general risk assessments in the workplace.

The course will concentrate on a practical approach to completing risk assessments.

Expected Outcomes
Having attended the course delegates should be able to: 
- Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements for carrying out risk assessments. 
- Identify typical workplace hazards and assess the risk. 
- Complete risk assessment forms providing an accurate record of the assessment. 
- Interpret completed assessment forms. 
- Identify circumstances where more detailed assessment may be required.

Delegates who successfully complete the training will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.

- Ways of Quantifying Hazard and Risk 
- Methods of Conducting Risk Assessment in the Workplace

- Recording the Assessment 
- Using the Assessment as an Aid for Monitoring Health and Safety in the Workplace
