Who will benefit from this course
Designed for those who want a full understanding of public and press relations. The course is suitable for anyone currently performing a PR function or who is about to take on a PR role and requires a greater understanding. It is also suitable for those not directly involved in PR who feel that they would benefit from a greater understanding of what PR is all about.

Often we not only have PR managers attend but also PR assistants, marketers and product managers. There is no requirement for any prior PR knowledge or experience before attending this course.

Description of the course
The course begins by defining PR and how to go about launching a PR campaign whilst identifying some the challenges that are commonly faced. Delegates will discover how to go about achieving good public and press relations and will develop a list of opportunities for writing a press release. You will learn how to write the release to achieve maximum coverage. Other key areas covered are: dealing with the media, how to get the best from a media interview, how to prepare for a press reception or conference, and how to develop a PR campaign.

Numerous real life examples are used during the course to bring to life the key concepts and to demonstrate how they are used to gain maximum exposure. The course is practical in nature and involves a number of exercises, allowing delegates to practice the techniques and receive individual tutor feedback. Many industry tips are included that are crucial to PR success.

Group numbers are strictly limited to ensure individual delegate understanding.
