Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

Course Aim:

Safety at work is the responsibility of employers and employees alike and acceptance of this responsibility is fundamental to ensure safe working practice. The new Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) came into force on 1 April 1990. The Regulations concern all employers, employees and suppliers who are responsible for the maintenance, servicing and installation of electrical equipment or services. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive.

Duration: 
2 Days.

Target Group:
This short course is intended for any personnel with any kind of electrical work in the workplace. The course also covers the needs and requirements for those who will be required to test portable appliances.
