Course Objectives:
To guide participants through the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) with respect to portable appliance examination testing

Duration:
1 Day

Designed For: 
- The qualified or practising electrician OR those persons with a sound knowledge of electrical equipment and planned maintenance scheme 
- Trainee electricians at NVQ Level 2

Course Content: 
- A review of the requirements of the regulations 
- Methods of compliance with these requirements 
- A study of equipment types and availability 
- Recording and tabulation 
- Practical aspects - “hands on” exercises
