Description of the Course:
This very popular course looks at the professional skills a good PA needs to be effective in today's business environment. The course starts by looking at the changing role of the PA. It focuses on how to develop a professional image and the skills necessary to take the initiative.

Perhaps the most popular session is that covering "managing your boss" and "managing more than one boss" where the problems are discussed and solutions developed. Communicating well is a key skill and the course looks at this from the PA's perspective, including how to say "no" constructively.  Dealing with the various interruptions the PA faces in a professional manner are also explored. The final session looks at ways to reduce and manage the stresses the PA's challenging role can place upon you.

Throughout the programme there is ample opportunity to interact with other PA's, exchange ideas and learn from one another through structured exercises and tutor led discussions. This is a very participative programme.
