By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Identify the key characteristics of portfolio, programme and project management and explain how they differ from Business as Usual
- Explain how a P3O model adds value to different stages of portfolio, programme and project lifecycles
- Describe how a P3O model underpins organizational governance and control that runs through all the change programmes and projects within an organization
- Identify how the maturity of your organization’s Project, Programme and Portfolio Management processes should impact on the P3O model to be implemented
- Define the scope of the P3O model for your organization based on the core problems it experiences
- Map your organisation’s stakeholders to the expected benefi ts of implementing the P3O
- Produce a Business Case
- Assign roles to a P3O model
- Produce an P3O Blueprint
- Use a range of P3O techniques including Portfolio Optimization Technique, business process swimlanes, management dashboards, project complexity modelling

You should attend this P3O course if:
You are (or will soon be) required to manage manage a portfolio, programme or project office and need to know the approaches, guidance and practical tools to establish or maintain an effective support, assurance and strategic planning function within the organisation.

You wish to pass the Foundation and Practitioner examinations
