This is an examination-based course, which gives delegates accreditation to the Management of Risk (M_o_R) at Foundation Level. The course provides delegates with a detailed knowledge of the M_o_R principles, processes and techniques for identifying, assessing, planning for and managing risks. The course helps delegates understand the benefits of managing risks from Strategic, Programme, Project and Operational perspectives. Maven Training is a Registered Education Provider for the PMI® and this course carries 20 PDUs (Professional Development Units).

- Identifying common risk management problems and how M_o_R can help overcomethese

M_o_R Principles 
- An overview of the twelve principles underpinning the M_o_R 
- How the principles support Corporate Governance

M_o_R Processes 
- A detailed explanation of the process model and lifecycle which form the basis of the M_o_R method 
- Key M_o_R documents used in association with the process

M_o_R Techniques 
- Application of techniques to identify, assess, plan and implement risk management and support communications and reporting

M_o_R Foundation Examination Preparation 
- Practise examination multiple-choice questions

Course Structure 
- Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation 
- 3-day Course 
- Practical exercises 
- 45-minute, multiple-choice, closed-book Foundation Exam on the third day
- Delegates are encouraged to complete 1-2 hours of evening work on each day of course 
- PDU’s (Professional Development Units) Certified – 20
