The M_o_R Foundation and Practitioner course will focus on equipping the delegate with a detailed knowledge of the M_o_R method including the twelve principles, the four main process groups and the core techniques essential to managing risks using the M_o_R guidance. The successful completion of the Foundation & Practitioner Exam will give the delegate a recognised Practitioner qualification. This course lays a firm grounding for the delegate to apply the M_o_R guidance to strategy, programmes, projects and operations in the work place. Maven Training is a Registered Education Provider for the PMI® and this course carries 27 PDUs (Professional Development Units).

- Learn to link the principles, processes and techniques to organisational scenarios 
- Answer any questions or concerns delegates may have about using M_o_R to manage risk 
- Pass the Foundation and Practitioner Exams

Course Content
Introduction 
- Defining risk and risk management 
- Identifying common risk management problems and how M_o_R can help overcome these

M_o_R Principles 
- An overview of the twelve principles underpinning the M_o_R 
- How the principles can be used to perform a risk management health check

M_o_R Processes
A detailed explanation of the process model and lifecycle which form the basis of the M_o_R method

M_o_R Techniques 
- A description of various practical techniques which can be used to identify, assess, plan and implement risk management and support communications and reporting

Exam Preparation 
- Review of exam questions, mapped against key areas of the M_o_R manual.

Course Structure 
- Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation 
- 5-day Course 
- 45-minute multiple-choice, closed-book Foundation exam on the third day, 3-hour open-book Practitioner Exam on the fifth day 
- Delegates are encouraged to complete 1-2 hours of evening work during the course 
- PDU’s (Professional Development Units) Certified – 27
