Overview
This practical course provides an excellent foundation in the requirements of the Manual Handling Regulations combined with the techniques for the safe lifting and moving of loads at work and how to train others in these techniques. The course includes practical and theory assessment with successful delegates being awarded a certificate of competence.

Who should attend
Training officers and key workers who may be called upon to train others in Manual Handling techniques or to carry out assessments under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations.

All delegates will receive a training manual containing trainer’s notes and PowerPoint presentation, ensuring they have everything they will need to deliver effective manual handling training on their return to work.
