A 1-day training course for managers in Stress Management


Introduction
Managers Managing Stress is specifically developed to meet the needs of organisations who have recognised the crucial role managers play in the reduction and prevention of work-related stress.
The course is very practical and uses our specially developed management framework 'CUSP' as a tool to minimise the effect of specific stress situations on both the individual and the organisation. The course is regularly updated to take account of changes in stress-related legislation and recent HSE initiatives. Over the last 3 years, more than 100 organisations and over 5,000 managers have benefited from this course.

Anyone who manages people, (e.g. senior managers, line managers, team leaders)

Purpose of course
What managers need to know and do to minimise stress risks at work.

How to prevent stress (minimise risk) and create a good climate
What to do to prevent stress-related litigation and avoid HSE Improvement and Enforcement Notices
Understand the practical implications of the risk management process where stress is concerned
How to complete a full individual stress risk assessment if required
How to improve awareness of relevant policy and support structures within their organisation
