LOLER (Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Operations Regulations 1998)
Our LOLER course provides an overview of the regulations from a management perspective and does not lead to any competence with regards to lifting operations or use of lifting equipment.
Aims
To understand the LOLER Regulations with regard to Lifting equipment in every day use in workplaces -
Factories, Shops, Offices, Construction Sites, Hospitals, Farms, Warehouses and wherever lifting equipment
is used.
Objectives
At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:
State to whom the regulations apply
State the equipment to which LOLER applies
Conduct a risk assessment of Lifting Operations
Introduce control measures to enable compliance with the LOLER Regulations
Keep the statutory required records
State the thorough examination and inspection requirements of the LOLER Regulations
