Course Overview: 

This course provide delegates with the methodology, theoretical and practical knowledge of testing ventilation systems.It also enables delegates to competently carry out the testing of local exhaust ventilation systems used to control exposure to hazardous substances.

•General principles of good control 
•Hazard identification & risk assessment 
•Types of ventilation systems – general and local 
•Design principles of typical systems 
•Measurement & testing of LEV systems 
•Measurement instrumentation and techniques of use 
•Legal requirements - COSHH and other Regulations 
•Record keeping 
•Other health & safety considerations.
