ISO 9000:2008-Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor (IRCA 2180)

Course Overview:
Those with responsibility for undertaking internal quality audits against a formal quality management system (QMS). The course is also suitable for those Managers who require greater knowledge and understanding how a QMS can be implemented within their organisation including Quality Auditors, Line Managers and Company Auditors.

Course Content:
•To assist in the delegate’s understanding of the requirements for quality audits, together with the personal attributes and responsibilities of an auditor.
•To equip delegates with the skills to enable them to audit the company’s Quality Management Systems and determine whether or not it meets the requirements of the relevant audit criteria.
•Process and System approach to Quality Management.
•An introduction to Quality Management System principles and explanation of how they underpin ISO 9001:2008.
•Auditing tools- The various tools that are available to assist auditors.
•Delegate assessment

Assessment:
Assessment is carried out by continuous assessment of delegate performance throughout the theoretical and practical phases. There will be a short examination towards the end of the course.
